About Me
I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I started when I was about 11 after reading the entire series of The Famous Five. I wrote my version of the book using my own characters, and I never looked back. As I got older, my tastes changed, and I wrote anything and everything. From romance to fantasy, to chic lit, to erotica. Anywhere my mind takes me, I go and I have always loved where my imagination has taken me. Writing has always been a wonderful escape for me. Using my imagination to create different worlds and characters is euphoric. I have written several short stories which I have self-published on Amazon using different pseudonyms. I love reading, crocheting, listening to music and watching films.
As a writer, I don’t just use words to describe what I see; I create stories and scenes that take the reader to somewhere new and unexpected. To get a better sense of my work, please feel free to explore my official Author Portfolio.
The Dream
It's never too later to follow your dreams. As long as you are alive and breathing you can do it. You just have decide if it's worth it, and if you believe that it is, then you make time for it. I will never stop following my dreams. One of my biggest dreams has always been seeing one of my books making it to the best seller list and then being approached by either Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, HBO, Disney Plus or Apple TV and have my books either turned into a film or a TV series and I have no intention of ever giving up on that dream.
The Vision
Like most people, I have a vision. Of course, it wasn't always like that. There was a time when I had no faith in myself or my work whatsoever. I gave up because I never thought I would get anywhere. And it didn't help that I kept getting rejection after rejection from all the literary agents I sent my books to.
Some came back with encouraging feedback, and some said nothing at all, but I guess I just saw it as being as not being good enough. So I stopped writing for about seven years and concentrated on other things, but the desire to write never really ever went away. Eventually, I started writing again, and that's when I took the self-publishing route and I never looked back. I'm not saying it's easy, but what is? It's a lot of hard work because you're doing everything yourself, but it's well worth it when you see the result.
Yep, my vision might seem farfetched to some, but it's one I have never let go of.
And I never will..
